Brooklyn Navy Yard

Recently I had the opportunity to visit the NewLab at the Brooklyn Navy Yard a incubator for companies. It was amazing to see how they had transformed this industrial space into a hip, collaborative, and cool area. It allows for ideas to grow by bringing bright minds together at the same location. It’s a long way from where I live, but I can see why innovators are drawn here from around the New York Metro area.

The featured image (and above image)is a self driving car, I went for a ride and everything was controlled by a laptop with it was able to detect people, lines on the road, other vehicles and even birds. This will be the future.
